@krnkarina: @jyri et al founded Jaiku in February of 2006 and launched in July. The Twitter project started in late March of the same year- I believe as a means to enhance and harbor creativity by a private company (Odeo I think- podcasting?).
So, technically Jaiku is older in concept- but I think Twitter has been in operation for every-so-slightly longer- but that was just a private launch. I believe the official public launch was in July- same as Jaiku.
For some reason, the less functional and far less useful (IMO at least) non-conversational Twitter service took off better than Jaiku. Certainly doesn't make it anywhere near as good of a product, just means that more people jumped on to the Twitter bandwagon as it rolled through their digital village. ;-)

@adewale- quite true, it seems. When I did get flipped the bird, my comment still made it through- this is fine with me so long as the operation has completed. Quickly firing up another tab just to verify that this is the case is a decent tip. :-)

Well, one more then I guess... but I'm not sure I can help you out with a game on Friday as well. That's asking a lot after what I saw on Saturday. Your Penguins got very flustered and frustrated- the Wings, they got... sisu. :-)
Pittsburgh has a team that has a considerable amount of growing up to do and just lack the experience and fortitude that it takes to win the cup from Detroit- far more than I imagine they will have by tomorrow. Gonna be a good game either way though!

No, no, no! Go Wings! So it's back down to a best of three series. We'll see what happens when we're watching them skate on Detroit ice. :-) Remember, two more games here in Detroit... If need be.
Still had a fun time watching the game. I was over at a buddy's place with the laptop connected to my E71 via walkinghotspot, connected to my hava at home and then to his TV through svideo. :-D It'll be a lot easier when the game is back on NBC, but not as cool.
Anyway, best of luck to your team. They've been skating on it so far, and they'll need more to skate in the D!
